Often, to drive such vehicles, you need to have a driver&#8217;s license of category A1 (with an electric motor from 3 to 4 kW or an internal combustion engine up to 50 cubic meters) or A. However, there are some exceptions that allow you to drive motorcycles, scooters or mopeds without a license. These include low-power electric vehicles &#8211; up to 3 kW. Yes, previously it was possible to drive such vehicles with engines up to 50 cubic meters without a driver&#8217;s license. However, since 2020, legislative changes have been made that require mandatory registration of all such vehicles and, accordingly, the presence of category A1 rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, scooters not with an internal combustion engine, but electric scooters, have become increasingly popular. In this case, everything depends on the engine power. Therefore, it is important to know which electric scooters and<\/span><b>Which mopeds don&#8217;t require a license?<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As already mentioned above, vehicles with electric motors up to 3 kW do not need to be registered and can be driven without a driver&#8217;s license.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, to avoid possible problems and unnecessary questions from the police, we recommend that you carry with you documents with the technical characteristics of such electric vehicles. It should also be remembered that when using public roads, even on such vehicles, you should follow the traffic rules. This issue causes a lot of discussion. After all, these two-wheeled vehicles are becoming more and more popular, and their use is becoming more and more widespread. Some modern electric scooters develop speeds no less than scooters and are full-fledged participants in road traffic. However, the legislative issue of their use in modern conditions is not regulated in any way. This type of transport is familiar to everyone from childhood. However, not everyone knows that there are established rules for using these two-wheelers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children under 7 years old are allowed to ride only on sidewalks;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children aged 7 to 14 can only ride on special bike paths;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the age of 14, you are allowed to travel on public roads.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, in our realities, these rules do not always apply. One of the problems remains the lack of appropriate infrastructure even in large cities. Another paradox is that bicycles do not need to be registered, nor do they need to obtain a driver&#8217;s license to use them, but on the road you must follow traffic rules, like all other road users.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Conclusion<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The list of vehicles that can be driven in Ukraine without a driver&#8217;s license is quite extensive. In most cases, this is an advantage. Although, for example, there are still discussions in society about electric scooters, whether it is worth allowing their use without appropriate control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advantages of driving without a license:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No need to register a vehicle;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no need to take driver&#8217;s courses;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Such vehicles are more affordable than cars.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, when using mopeds, scooters, electric scooters, bicycles, or other similar vehicles, remember that you are a road user.
